The boffins were straight on the case some three years ago when Britain literally ran out of rock salt due to the unexpected snow and ice. With literally hundreds of thousands of people, businesses and public services left high and dry with no way to grit roads, paths or car-parks, we knew that an alternative had to be found.

We blended togther some normal non gritty salt (all that was available) and some teenty tiny horticultural grit and Ultragrip was born!

Inevitably, other companies have jumped on our band wagon and have tried to copy the Ultrgarip secret formula, but this is where you'll find the original, no imitations, proper Ultrgarip Grit Salt!

Due to it's nature this is a bit more difficult to get through a spreader and it will leave more residue but if you've got deeper or thicker areas to de-ice and you need something that will last longer and keep providing traction then this is the one for you!
