This is your run of the mill normal old rock salt. It's an oldie but a goodie and it's helped us to keep hundreds of thousands of people on their feet, and businesses open to trade, for over twenty years!

 

Normal brown rock salt is the one used by Councils every year to de-ice the roads and motorways. It has a natural red colouration due to the very tiny amount of clay in it; if you're worried about mess then check out the White Rock Salt instead.
